On arrival in Amsterdam, we had booked a Ziptransfer to our hotel...my advice would be not to bother.....thats a review for another day!!! There are loads of taxis outside the airport....beware to use a registered taxi as there are many men, holding up taxi signs who are using their own cars and charge whatever they want! The hotel rooms are very small but very clean and the bathroom had gorgeous underfloor heated tiles which were so nice underfoot. There was a selection of toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities in the room, a mini bar (not stocked, except with 2 bottles of complimentary water), a large smart TV, so we could watch Netflix and best of all sockets on both sides of the bed, which is nearly unheard of in any hotel!! The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a choice of hot (eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, beans, potatoe circles) and cold (selection of cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit etc) food every day and a good range of breads and pastries, jams, spreads etc. Staff were helpful, accommodating and super friendly. We found the location to be perfect. It's a bit outside the buzz of the city but we loved that it was really quiet at night. There is a tram stop a few minutes walk away. We bought a 3 day ticket, costing €20 each, and made great use of it. Would highly recommend getting one! We got a taxi to the train station the day we were leaving which was €25 but it was raining and we were getting the train to Paris so it was worth it to not be soaked!

Check in was very easy reception staff were lovely and welcoming. We had booked 2 rooms as there was 6 of us. Building was very secure. We stayed as we went to a concert at the ziggo dome and was staying for Kings day. Location was out of the centre but it worked well for us as it was easy to get a taxi to the concert then on Kings day we had a nice walk into the centre. Rooms were very clean and very modern. Very large rooms with plenty of space. 3 girls in each room and we all had plenty of room. Dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobes, coffee machine provided. Mini fridge provided. Bathroom was lovely and spacious. Very nice shower. Hair dryer in the bathroom plus toiletries provided. We borrowed an iron from reception. One of the best hotels I've stayed in in Amsterdam. Would definitely stay again. Very easy to get in and out of the city on the trams but be aware they don't run into the city on Kings day.

Staff were exceptional ! me and my partner traveled here as a celebration of our anniversary.we picked the penthouse room with the large balcony( which I hope I can request to stay in next time) which was perfect and we hope to return again shortly. My partner came down with the flu while staying and all staff offered e paracetamol and cold remedy’s to help , great hospitality ! The breakfast both mornings was only fault we found unfortunately, most of the English breakfast stuff was more cold than hot, but staff did try amend this I think it was just that we were in that early for breakfast. So yes enjoyed our stay and hope we to return in the future.thank you

Location was great, little shops and cute restaurants nearby, also easy to access by tram to anywhere in city. Breakfast was definitely worth of it, delicious! Room was cozy and clean. However, property seemed to be oldish, would need proper maintenance work like painting walls. Also, on the pictures in booking.com place was made to look a lot better, through which I got an impression that it is really going to be something ”grand”, although the property was very basic. The access to terrace on pictures is possible only if you have a room in top floors. To conclute, the stay was a okay.

This was our 5th stay at this hotel, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, just as it should be, confirming yet again that we made the right choice. We noticed that the nearby shops and restaurants have expanded and become even more diverse. The location remains excellent, particularly convenient for transportation. Highly recommended! As a tip, the breakfast is very rich and varied, but it's best not to leave it until the last minute.
